The
Brainerd Jaycees Street Fest on 7th is scheduled to be held in downtown Brainerd. The event will feature a rib-cooking competition, arts,
crafts and food vendors, family activities and live music from 9am-midnight. Originally started in 2002 as the Great Northern BBQ, the Street Fest on
7th is now in its fourth year with its new name and format. 2011 marks the 10th Anniversary of a summer barbecue hosted by the Jaycees in Brainerd. The Brainerd Jaycees are a leadership development
organization for men and women ages 18-40. Established in 1939, this chapter of
150 people donates over $200,000 and 75,000 hours to the Brainerd-lakes
